You are what you eat

Our tour leader informed me that we need to look at everything we eat. You may be able to loose weight on a sub way diet but it won't keep you going on multiple 85 mile days.
If you have some good recipes with stove and with out please reply so we can try them out. Thank to our quartermaster we will pick up a new stove from our friend at fed ex on Wed.

  1. Shouldn't this be Lesson #6? "Prepare a menu before the tour?"
Oatmeal in the am will yield energy slowly all day.. an acquired taste.
If Jetboil -> all kinds of stew for cheap veg and protein @ the market.
There are a number of pouches of tea included with the stovehead. The herbs are for the evening. The Pu-Er is supposed to be good for everything and will be great for thirst/hydration.
I will track the package and give you an accurate ETA as we get closer to D-day.
