Day 5 Nehalem bay to cape lookout

45 miles down the coast we road. Passed the Tillimook cheese factory, past Rockaway which celebrate Memorial the away Sebastopol does with main street lined with american flags.
Good job scouts in putting out the flag this weekend I know the commuity appreciate it as much as I do. If you took a picture please post it in your reply.

The only lesson learned today I which I learned 26 years ago when I was having trouble with my knee and my doctor at the time suggested I stop ridding so I did.  Now with the same problem I was mentor to raise my seat streatch before, during and after the ride and what do you know my knee stopped hurting. Now if any one has a cure for SB let know. If you are wondering what SB is and you will figure it out.

  2. Flags are on main today. Are you really having an issue with your knee.. OR is this another excuse to have Joe carry more of the load?

  3. Personally, I wouldn't want to find a cure for SB... eating SorBet after a long day's ride! (Or if you add a letter here and there and drop one too and use a spoon...)!

  4. SB.. here are some options: a) turn ur saddle backwards, b) acquire a 1" stake and pop it into two over lapping zip-locs -> tape to saddle -> when you arrive at destination squeeze out the "juice" and cut the meat for a stew using veg you "acquired" from fields along the way. The best part is you will drive your friends crazy with the glorious aroma from the stew. Even better because it will be all yours.. noone will want the meat that was partially tenderized and cooked on the "rear burner".. bom bom

  6. Uncle Eric suggests Chamois Butt'r. Get it at REI or a LBS. I used it all summer preping for Vineman last year. Cool to follow your trip via the blog, keep up the hard work. Enjoy every minute of the bonding!
